CM Mohan Majhi To Hoist Tricolour In Bhubaneswar On I-Day

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has released the schedule for the flag-hoisting ceremonies on the 78th Independence Day on August 15.

As per the list of ministers and administrative officers who will participate in the Independence Day ceremonies across the state, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will hoist the Tricolour and take salute in the state capital Bhubaneswar, while his deputies KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida will attend the I-Day events in Nuapada and Cuttack respectively.

The letter to Odisha DGP from the Home Secretary further stated that the Collector of the district concerned will perform the ceremonial flag hoisting and take salute on the occasion in case those designated are unable to reach the assigned place due to unavoidable circumstances.

Below is the list of dignitaries who will hoist the Tricolour in the remaining districts of the state.
