Bhubaneswar: On Sunday afternoon, the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, met numerous people, organisations, and grievance holders at his temporary office in the state guest house.
CM Majhi also met a group of computer teachers one among them was specially abled Arjun Nayak, who had lost one of his legs in an accident.
After listening to the grievances of Arjun, CM Majhi expressed grief over his loss and asked him not to be impatient. He also offered Arjun a glass of water and made him drink with his hands.
Arjun was moved by CM Majhi’s humbleness and wasn’t able to control his tears of happiness. He left CM’s office with new hopes and faith.
CM Majhi, after assuming charge on June 12 has been continuously meeting with the common people to address their grievances.
In the last 5 days, CM Majhi has met with more than one lakh people.
On Sunday, CM Majhi also extended his support to a 14-year-old boy Babuli of Madhapur village of Chandbali in Bhadrak district suffering from a rare kind of disease called Traumatic Neuro Motor Disorder.
Babuli’s family was provided with financial assistance of Rs 30,000 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
