Bhubaneswar: In a gift to the state government employees and pensioners on the eve of the Raja festival, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced a 4% increase in the dearness allowance (DA). At the same time, the TI of the pensioners will also be hiked.
An estimated 7.5 lakh state government employees and pensioners will be benefitted from the government’s latest announcement. Both the hikes will be effective from January 1, 2023.
