Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik convened an important meeting of senior party leaders from Puri district at his residence in Naveen Niwas on Monday.
According to reports, the meeting is likely to primarily focus on the Puri parliamentary constituency, which is a contentious Lok Sabha seat keeping in view a possible alliance between the BJD and opposition BJP in the state.
BJP leaders Arun Sahu, Rudra Maharathy, Sanjay Das Burma, Uma Samantaray, and Satyanarayana Pradhan are scheduled to attend the meeting along with the BJD Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das aka Bobby Das.
