Despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Odisha stood out for its exemplary management, earning accolades for its low mortality rates and proactive measures. The CM reiterated the state’s commitment to public health, emphasizing the provision of free healthcare to all citizens, a partnership with private hospitals, and the strengthening of healthcare infrastructure.
Education emerged as a cornerstone of the CM’s agenda, with widespread transformation evident in schools and colleges across the state. From smart classrooms to innovative scholarship programs, Odisha’s youth are being empowered to dream big and contribute to the state’s progress.
Women’s empowerment, healthcare services, agricultural initiatives, tribal development, and infrastructure projects were among the other key highlights of the CM’s tenure. Notably, Odisha witnessed a sharp drop in multidimensional poverty and emerged as a top destination for manufacturing and IT investments.
Looking ahead, the CM expressed confidence in Odisha’s bright future, envisioning the state as a leader in every field by its centenary in 2036. With a focus on youth empowerment and inclusive growth, the CM pledged to build a modern, dynamic, and responsive Odisha for generations to come.
