Bhubaneswar: Concentrix BPO, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday.

On this occasion, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology and Sports and Youth Welfare and Home Affairs Tusharkanti Behera, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Bishnupad Sethi, Principal Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Manoj Kumar Mishra, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Manas Ranjan Panda, and Ramadevi University Vice-Chancellor Arpita Choudhury were present.
The establishment of this Custom Experience Center by Concentrix in Bhubaneswar will further accelerate the state’s economy and create high-paying critical employment opportunities for the youth. Moreover, it has been recognized as the world’s strongest and most valuable commercial services brand by Brand Finance. The company’s centers located in various countries including India have been listed as ‘Best Workplaces’.
In addition to establishing a Customer Experience Center at Concentrix Bhubaneswar, an agreement was also signed with Ramadevi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar on the occasion for women empowerment and employment opportunities. As a result of this agreement, a “Skill Development Center of Concentrics” will be set up on the premises of the university to provide necessary training and employment to the qualified students to enhance their professional skills.
On this occasion, Naveen expressed happiness and mentioned that Concentrics Customer Experience Center will be very helpful in the field of information and technology development in Odisha. He wished speedy progress of Concentrics in its expansion and hoped that it would create more employment opportunities for the youth of the state in the field of technology.
The Chief Minister said that the Odisha government will provide all possible help and support to increase the staffing of Bhubaneswar Customer Experience Center to 5000 as soon as possible.
On this occasion, the CM expressed the hope that the agreement signed between Bhubaneswar Ramadevi Women’s University and Concentrics will lead the way in the field of women’s employment and empowerment.
Ravinder Singh Rana, SVP – India, ASEAN, and ANZ at Concentrix said thanked the state government for its prompt cooperation and announced that Concentrix will soon expand its workforce in Odisha from 2,000 to 5,000 in the coming days. He promised that 50 percent of these employees will be women employees.
He hoped that the Bhubaneswar Center would be transformed into a major center of information technology in East India in the near future.
