**Bhubaneswar:** On the 83rd Utkal Divas (#UtkalaDibasa), Chief Minister Naven Patnaik on Sunday send his warm greetings to all the Odia people across the world. Taking to twitter, Chief Minister paid tribute to the great leaders who sacrificed their lives for the formation of the independent state of Odisha on April 1 back in 1936.

Every year, the Odia communities all across the globe celebrate Utkal Divas to mark the formation of the state by organizing several programs throughout the day to mark the occasion.
The capital city is wearing a glittering look with State Assembly, Secretariat, Police Commissionerate and many others dazzling with different lights.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi too took to twitter to greet the people of Odisha on Utkal Divas. He tweeted, “Best wishes to my sisters and brothers of Odisha on Utkala Dibasa”.
