Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday silenced his critics and opinion-makers who were voicing out concerns about the CM’s health condition.
The CM walked along with newly-elected Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Pramila Malik to the latter’s podium, through the stairs, and wished her on being the first woman to hold the coveted post.
Naveen seemed absolutely comfortable while strutting along the way up to the podium, which was a clear deviation from what critics have been saying lately about his health. After greeting the Speaker, Naveen returned to the treasury bench and occupied his seat, without any external support.
After the Members of OLA settled in their seats, the CM also addressed the House. The CM attended the first day of the monsoon session and his demeanour was enough to silence the opposition party leaders who have been raising questions about the CM’s health.
