Bhubaneswar: Grammy Award Winner and Indian Composer Rickey Kej called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Friday. Naveen thanked Kej for his contribution to the song on ‘Mandia’, which has been composed in 2023 – declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Millets.
Chief Advisor, Chief Minister’s Office R Balakrishnan was present during the meeting held at the Lok Seva Bhavan yesterday. Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee, and Director of Agriculture and Food Production Prem Chandra Choudhury were also present at the meeting.
The CM Tweeted: “Glad to meet three-time #GrammyAward winner and Indian music composer and producer, Mr. @rickykej. Thanked him for his contribution towards ‘#Mandia’ song released by #Odisha on occasion of the International Year of Millets.”
