Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik arrived in the city today after his short trip to Delhi where he was felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Capital Foundation. The Biju Janata Dal leadership had made special arrangements to welcome the party president for the feat, as thousands of BJD workers from across Odisha flocked the Capital City on Tuesday.
The BJD supremo rode in a special bus from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), waving the party workers from atop the vehicle, to his residence, Naveen Nivas. The Twin City police made elaborate arrangements to manage at least 50,000 BJD workers and supporters who had come to Bhubaneswar to attend the welcome event.
