Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s cousin Dilip Patnaik has reportedly applied for old-age pension provided by both the Odisha government and the Central government.
According to reports, 76-year-old Dillip Patnaik, son of Dr George Patnaik, elder brother of Naveen’s legendary father Biju Patnaik has applied for old-age pension both under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana (MBPY) of the State government and Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) of the Central government.
A well-wisher got the forms for the aforementioned schemes filled up by Dilip to apply for old-age pension.
Dilip resides in a part of his ancestral house Anand Bhawan in Tulasipur area of the city which is in a dilapidated state. This part of Anand Bhawan is separated by a boundary wall from the Biju Patnaik’s ancestral house Anand Bhawan which has been converted into a museum by the government.
