Bhubaneswar: Schools for students from Std 8 to Std 12 reopened on Monday and for KG to Std 7 are going to resume from February 14. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today wished students across the State on this day and urged all to follow COVID protocols at schools.
The Chief Minister appealed to parents to send their children to schools and gave confidence to the students for success. “Today we are all very happy as the schools have reopened. Together we will make up for the losses studies suffered during the last two years.”
“Today is a historic day for all of us. The school bells rang after two years. With the blessings of Lord Jagannath, your support and the sacrifice of our COVID warriors, this became possible. The reopening of schools is an auspicious sign,” the CM added.
“Your generation has faced the harshest of situation in the history of humankind. This experience will be immensely helpful for you all to face challenges in future. I am confident, you all will add value to the society with your talent and commitment.”
