Bhubaneswar: The cold wave continues to prevail in several parts of Odisha 11 places in the State recording minimum temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius.
The mercury level plummeted to 8.9 degrees Celsius at Kirei being coldest place in the state in last 24 hours.
Koraput (9.0), Ranital (9.3), Keonjhar (10), Rourkela (10) witnessed cold conditions with chilly wind.
Similarly, Jharsuguda recorded 10.4, Similiguda 10.2, Baripada 10.6, G Udaygiri 10.8, Phulbani 11.5 and Angul shivers with 11.6.
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 15.5 and 14.0 degrees C respectively.
