Baripada: A cold wave has swept across areas under the Similipal National Tiger Reserve, with temperatures plummeting to 3°C at Upper Baraha Kamuda (UBK) Area.
According to reports, UBK recorded a low of 3 °C, while Chahala recorded 5°C,, Ramatirtha recorded 12°C, Kiajhari recorded 12°C, and Satkosia recorded 13°C.
The humidity levels are at 06%, 25%, 85%, 84%, and 84% in different areas. The temperature readings were recorded in the early morning on Saturday.
However, there has been no rainfall in the region. The cold wave is expected to continue, with temperatures likely to remain low in the coming days.
