Bhubaneswar: Cold wave gripped Odisha as the mercury dropped below 12 degree Celsius at seven places across the state. Subarnapur remained the coldest with 9.2 degree Celsius.
Other places where the temperature remained below 12 C are Daringbadi 9.5, Phulbani 9.8, Koraput 10.7, Angul 10.8 and Bhawanipatna 11.0 degrees.
The temperature in Bhubaneswar was at 17.4 with its twin city Cuttack lodging 16.4 degree C said the Regional Meteorological Centre here.
