Bhubaneswar: Odisha is expected to experience a cold wave in the next four to five days, with temperatures likely to dip further.
The India Meteorological Department has predicted that the state will witness cold wave conditions, with mercury levels dropping significantly.
The regional weather office has also warned of moderate to dense fog in several districts, including Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, and Jharsuguda, over the next three days.
The minimum temperature in several parts of the state has already dropped below 10 degrees Celsius.
Daringbadi recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius, while Phulbani recorded 8.5 degrees Celsius. Other parts of the state, including Rourkela, Kendujhar, and Bhubaneswar, also experienced chilly weather.
