Puri: A girl studying in 2nd year of Plus Two at Samanta Chandra Sekhar Autonomous College in Puri allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room on Monday.
Reportedly, her friends had come to call her for Diwali but she did not open the door. She also did not pick up her phone despite repeated calls.
Getting suspicious, they called the Hostel Superintendent. Later, Town Police arrived at the hostel and found that she had hanged herself with her scarf.
