Dhenkanal: A college girl died after the scooter she was riding was hit by a bus in Dhenkanal district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Ipsita Barala, daughter of Prabhakar Barala of Belpada village. She was studying in +2 1st year at Satyam Sivam Sundaram Mahavidyalaya, Gaudakateni.
She was on her way to the college with a cousin when a dog came in front of the vehicle. As a result, the scooter lost its balance and was hit by a bus killing Ipsita on the spot.
