Bhubaneswar: Commercial flights will commence soon from Rourkela Airport, informed Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra.
“The airstrip has been completed. Currently, inspection is underway. Then we will get the license. Already Alliance Air has got permission under UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) to operate commercial flights. After we get the license Alliance Air will immediately start commercial flights,” said Mahapatra speaking to reporters here today.
