Commissionerate Police Ensures Another ‘Green Corridor’ To Save Critical Patient

Bhubaneswar: In yet another attempt to facilitate the shifting of patients in need of critical medical procedures at the healthcare facilities outside Odisha, a ‘Green Corridor’ was ensured by the Commissionerate Police to help a patient in need of organ transplantation.

As informed by DCP (Traffic) Saumya Mishra through a tweet, at 4 PM today, Additional DCP of Traffic and team ensured a ‘Green Corridor’ from Apollo Hospital to Biju Patnaik International Airport for shifting a critical patient in Air Ambulance to Chennai for organ transplantation.

The DCP stated that it gave them immense pleasure to have performed their bit in saving a life.

Earlier on October 7 and 8, ‘Green Corridor’ had been facilitated by Commissionerate Police to shift patients in need of urgent heart & lung transplantation from AMRI & KIMS hospitals to the Airport.
