Bhubaneswar: Twin City Commissionerate Police will conduct a special campaign before the New Year, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh said after a review meeting with all police station officials on Wednesday.
The DCP said that the Commissionerate Police plans to launch a special campaign to check all the hotels in the capital city to nab the thieves from outside the state operating in the region.
The Commissionerate Police have recently received some sophisticated equipment and they were demonstrated to the police officials in today’s review meeting. They include fingerprint scanners that would enable the police to analyse the fingerprints of suspects on the spot and learn about their past criminal records, if any. In addition, the Commissionerate Police have acquired the latest CCTV cameras.
The Commissionerate Police aims to review all the pending cases and solve them at the earliest, DCP Singh told the media.
