Bhubaneswar: The death of the minor girl victim in the Balanga incident has triggered an outpouring of grief across the political spectrum in Odisha. Prominent leaders, including Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik, have expressed their deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the family members.
Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati stated that he is deeply saddened by the passing of the Balanga incident victim. Despite the best efforts of doctors at AIIMS Delhi, her life couldn’t be saved. May her soul attain sadgati and God bless the family with immense strength in this difficult time, he added.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of the minor girl. He stated that he is deeply shocked to hear the news of the death of the girl victim in the Balanga incident. Despite all the efforts of the government and the round-the-clock endeavours of the special medical team at AIIMS Delhi, her life could not be saved.

Despite all their efforts and the relentless hard work of the expert medical team at AIIMS Delhi day and night, her life could not be saved. He prayed for peace for the departed soul and expressed his deepest condolences to her family in this tragic situation.

She stated that following an unexpected and unfortunate incident, the Balanga victim, who was under treatment at Delhi AIIMS, passed away. Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik expressed anguish over the unfortunate incident. He stated that he is deeply saddened and anguished to know that the young girl set on fire in the Balanga area of Puri District passed away while undergoing treatment in AIIMS.
