Constable Suspended For Alleged Involvement In Kidnapping Case In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A police constable has been suspended for his alleged involvement in a kidnapping case in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday.

The accused constable has been identified as Anant Kumar Biswal, who was serving as a police constable at Suliapada police station in the Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, the police started an investigation based on a complaint lodged at the police station regarding a kidnapping incident. During the investigation, it was found that the constable Anant was involved in the said case. The constable was also charged in a money laundering case and was arrested.

Based on the findings of the investigation, the Mayurbhanj police suspended constable Anant Kumar Biswal and a notification was issued in this regard by the police department.
