Bhubaneswar: Construction work for 620 5T high schools is currently underway across 24 districts in Odisha, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond informed the state assembly on Friday.
In a written reply to a question by Daspalla MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera, the minister said that while work has started on 620 schools, construction for 28 proposed 5T high schools is yet to begin.
Minster Gond further stated that steps are being taken to expedite the pending works and ensure timely completion of the remaining schools.
“Measures are being taken to complete the unfinished work as soon as possible,” he said in his reply.
