Cop Shot With Arrow By Miscreant In Sundergarh

Sundergarh: A police officer was injured critically after being shot with an arrow by a miscreant in Sundergarh district on Tuesday.

The Inspector-in-charge of Mahulapada police station has been admitted to Bonai Hospital treatment.  The incident reportedly took place near Bada Jala School in Mahulapada.

A man was threatening to kill people with a bow and arrow on the roof of the school. The people were frightened by his threats. When the IIC reached the spot after receiving the information, the miscreant shot him with an arrow. The arrow pierced into the inspector’s hand.

After the incident, Sub-divisional Police Officer with additional forces rushed to the scene and tried to capture the miscreant.
