Koraput: In a heart-wrenching incident, a petty domestic dispute led a woman and her husband to end their lives one after another in Odisha’s Koraput village on Wednesday night.
The incident has been reported from Balipadar village under Baipariguda police limits in Koraput.
According to reports, Jinu Parja, his wife Rujmini Parja, and their three sons were a happy family. However, the couple argued over some domestic issue following which Rukmini entered a room and locked her from inside. When she did not open the door for long, the family members knocked on the door but there was no response. Eventually, they broke open the door and found Rukmini hanging from the ceiling.
Soon after, Jinu left home on the pretext of going to the washroom but did not return till late at night. Later, he was found hanging from a tree near the house.
