Berhampur: A couple was killed in a road accident in Khallikote in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday morning. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, the couple riding a two-wheeler died when a speeding car crashed into them on National Highway No 16 near Narayani Chowk under Khallikote police limits.
On being informed, Khallikote police reached the spot and started an investigation into the accident. Preliminary reports said that the couple was from Ayatpur village in the district.
