Couple Run Over By Speeding Ambulance In Front Of Kids In Boudh

Bhubaneswar: A couple died after being run over by a speeding Ambulance in front of their children.

The tragic incident occurred in Boudh district. The deceased couple has been identified as Mitu Behera and his wife Manorama Behera.

Mitu and his wife were on the way to Boudh from Athmallik along with their two children.

The couple stopped the bike mid-way and showed the Mahanadi water from a bridge to their daughters. Both were sitting on the road while their children were enjoying the Mahanadi water view. Suddenly, an ambulance hit Mitu and his wife. Mitu died on the spot while his wife succumbed to the injuries at a hospital.

On the other hand, the Ambulance driver fled the spot soon after causing the mishap. Police seized the vehicle and rescued the orphan children.
