Bhubaneswar: The Capital City on Wednesday recorded 145 new cases of COVID-19 out of which 124 were local contact cases, while the rest 21 affected persons are in were in quarantine.
With this, the City’s COVID tally rose to 1,55,016, with 9,792 active cases. Two persons died in Bhubaneswar due to COVID on Wednesday taking the toll to 1,153.
Similarly, 825 persons recovered from the disease during the same period. With this, the total number of coronavirus recoveries stood at 1,44,092, in Bhubaneswar.
The maximum number of cases on Wednesday were reported from Khandagiri (13), Nayapalli (12), Old Town (10), Patia (13), and Chandrasekharpur (12), the BMC data revealed.
