Bhubaneswar: In a bid to contain spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will be for the first time using drones for aerial spraying of disinfectants on a trial basis tomorrow.
The trial sanitation drive using drones on the area from Raj Mahal Square to Sishu Bhawan Square will be undertaken tomorrow from 10 AM to 3 PM, informed BMC Deputy Commissioner (Sanitation) Suvendu Sahu.
Considering the health hazards of disinfectant-sodium hypochlorite, people staying in these areas are requested not to step out of their homes, Sahu added.
