Bhubaneswar: Four more deaths due to deadly novel coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours in Odisha, taking the death toll to 52.
Three fatalities were reported in Ganjam district and one in Bhadrak district, as per the State health department’s official website.
The H&FW Department shared the details:
1: Female of 65 years of Ganjam district, also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
2: Male of 58 years of Ganjam district, also suffering from Tubercular Meningitis.
3: Male of 63 years of Ganjam district, also suffering from Diabetes.
4: Male of 58 years of Bhadrak district, also suffering from Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease.
Regret to inform the demise of 4 Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospital.

With this, the COVID-19 death toll in Ganjam district climbed to 30. Eight deaths have been reported from Khordha, five from Cuttack and one each was reported from Angul, Gajapati, Kendrapada, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Bargarh and Puri.
In addition to these four, another two COVID-19 patients passed away due to pre-existing comorbid conditions. This toll has risen to 15.
Regret to report that two patients who had tested positive for Covid, passed away due to other causes.
