COVID-19 In Odisha: 10 Deaths & Highest Single-Day Spike With 4330 Cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw the biggest single-day spike in coronavirus cases with 4,330 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s tally reached 1,79,880 on Sunday.

Among the new cases, 2,556 are quarantined cases and 1,774 are local contact cases.

Out of 4,330 new coronavirus cases, Khordha district led the charts with 644 cases, followed by Cuttack which saw 549 cases.

Meanwhile, another 10 patients have succumbed to coronavirus while undergoing treatment in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department.

  2. A 69-year old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease (Post Transplant).
  3. An 84-year old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
  4. A 68-year old male of Ganjam district.
  5. A 65-year old male of Kalahandi district.
  6. A 92-year old male of Khordha district.
  7. An 80-year old female of Mayurbhanj district.
  8. A 60-year old female of Puri district.
  9. A 54-year old male of Puri district.
  10. A 53-year old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
