COVID-19 In Odisha: Death Toll Crosses 1000-Mark As 15 Succumb

Bhubaneswar: The coronavirus-related death toll in the State crossed 1000-mark on Saturday to reach 1006 as 15 patients succumbed to the infection, informed H&FW Department.

Coming to the fatalities, the highest of three deaths were reported from Bhubaneswar. On top of that, two deaths were from Cuttack and Khordha and one each from Balasore, Balangir, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh districts.

List of fatalities:

1.A 44-year-old male of Balasore district.

  1. A 36-year-old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension & obesity.
  2. A 62-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes.
  3. A 66-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.
  4. A 78-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
  5. A 35-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
  6. A 70-year-old male of Cuttack district.
  7. A 61-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Chronic Liver Disease.
  8. A 50-year-old female of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
  9. A 40-year-old male of Jajpur district.
  10. A 60-year-old male of Kendrapada district.
  11. A 51-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Follicular Lymphoma.
  12. A 62-year-old male of Khordha district.
  13. A 37-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district.
  14. A 69-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
