Bhubaneswar: Despite lockdown to combat the spread of COVID-19, Ministry of Railways has taken challenge ensuring uninterrupted supply of essential commodities to the people. In view of the above, Ministry of Railways is running Parcel Express Trains towards different destinations of the country through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
Today, 132 Cartons consisting of Force shield, Masks and Gloves booked for Odisha Police from Tirupur/Salem Division/ Southern Railway, have been received and unloaded at Cuttack Railway station from Yeswantpur-Howrah Special Parcel train.
“In a concept ‘You Stay Safe at Home, We bring Essential Commodities to You’, the unsung warriors of East Coast Railway are working round the clock to ensure supply of essential commodities to the people in different parts of the country,” the ECoR said.
