COVID-19 Lockdown: 245 Cases Of Violation Filed In Odisha In 24 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: Even as the country is waging a war against the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) with a nationwide 21 day lockdown and we have many more miles to go, a whopping 245 number of cases were registered in a single day in Odisha by the police for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19. 

These cases were filed between the morning of April 1 and the morning of April 2, said an official press note issued from the State Headquarters of Odisha Police today.

Out of these cases, 229 cases have been registered for violation of ‘lockdown’, whereas six cases have been registered for violation of ‘home quarantine’, the press note clarified. 

Remaining 10 cases have been registered for other related issues, it added.
