Bhubaneswar: The daily case count of new Covid-19 infections in the city on Saturday recorded a further drop of 24.89% against the previous day.
A total of 341 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the city till 9.00 AM today out of which 309 were local contact cases, according to the information shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With 455 recovering from the disease in the last 24 hours the city currently has 11,977 active cases.
The city has reported four deaths due to Covid-19 during the same period which takes the death toll to 1130.
Out of the local contact cases, 59 each were reported from Khandagiri and Patia, 39 from Chandrasekharpur, 15 from Laxmi Sagar localities of the city.
