Bhubaneswar: After a three-year gap, COVID-19 has resurfaced in Odisha with the first case being identified in the state capital, Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the infected individual, a male who recently returned from Delhi, is currently under home quarantine, according to reports. The emergence of this new case has sparked concern among residents of the state.
Notably, while COVID-19 has been spreading in South Asian countries like China and Singapore, the infection has now reached India.
Two deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported in Mumbai. Across India, 257 cases have been identified, with the Bhubaneswar case adding to the growing concern over the virus’s resurgence.
