Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 situation has improved in the western districts of Odisha with a fall in the rate of infections, said Director of Medical Education and Training, Odisha, CBK Mohanty, on Saturday.
Hoping that the infection rates start to plateau and fall, Mohanty informed that the numbers of beds are being increased gradually in Covid hospitals. The capacity of Covid Care Centres (CCCs) is also being increased.
The government has directed to ensure oxygen facilities for all beds at CCCs. There is a sufficient amount of oxygen available with the State.
