Bhubaneswar: In view of the recent rise in Covid-19 cases in the State, the Odisha government has shot a letter to the Centre seeking 50,000 doses of the CorBEvax vaccine.
Director of Family Welfare Dr Bijaya Kumar Panigrahi on Monday wrote a letter to the Additional Commissioner (UIP), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW), New Delhi in this regard.
“…, presently there is a rise in COVID cases in Odisha. Also, there is a demand from the Public for precaution dose vaccination at Government CVCs. Hence, you are requested to kindly supply at least 50,000 doses of CorBEvax vaccine with long expiry to the State as early as possible,” read the letter.
