Bhubaneswar: The guidelines and restrictions imposed by the State Government on account of spread of the new variant of COVID-19, Omicron, has been extended till February 28. The State Government however has relaxed the night curfew timings in urban areas. As per an order issued by the office of Special Relief Commissioner on Monday, the night curfew in urban areas will begin from 10 pm and continue up to 5 am, every day.
The shops, malls and shopping complexes, cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment complexes, auditoriums, assembly halls, and similar places across the State shall remain open from 5 am to 10 pm every day, the order stated. The night restrictions shall not apply to the following: home delivery of food, grocery, vegetables, egg, fish, meat, milk and other essential items and aggregators such has Zomato, Swiggy, OPOLFED, OMFED, Chilika fresh, etc
