Bhubaneswar: Twelve more places in the city were declared as micro-containment zones by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today following the detection of Covid cases.
The civic body has declared five places in South-East Zone and seven places in North Zone as micro-containment zones.

Worth mentioning, as many as 10,856 new Covid-19 cases were reported from the State in the last 24 hours which included 3087 cases from Khordha district alone.
The city which is part of Khordha district has reported 1233 new cases in the last 24 hours (till 9 AM Jan 15) according to the update shared by BMC.
