Bhubaneswar: A total of 1,46,947 eligible beneficiaries were administered Covid vaccine jabs across Odisha today, according to a Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department press release.
A total of 52,482 in the 18-44 years age group received the first dose, while 9,222 received the second dose.
Similarly, a total of 19,559 in the age group of 45 years and above received the first dose, while 64,809 received the second dose.
The vaccination programme was carried out at 565 sites across the State out of which 163 were Covaxin sites.
According to the H&FW Department, so far 37, 77,162(19.5%) in the 18-44 age group have received the first dose, while 1, 98,565 have received the second dose.
Similarly, so far 62, 89,837 ( 54.2%) in the 45 years and above age group have received the first dose, while 22,21,092 have received the second dose.
Till date a total of 1, 36, 07,274 doses of vaccine have been administered in the State, H&FW Department data revealed.
As on date (July 14), 2, 62,060 doses of Covishield and 2, 32,530 doses of Covaxin supplied by the Government of India is available with the State.
The H&FW department has planned 1077 sessions for tomorrow.
No sessions have been planned in Balasore, Dhenkanal and Nawarangpur districts, the H&FW release added.
