Nabarangpur: A cow in Raigarh region of the district has given birth to a calf which has two heads with three eyes. The rare calf was born on Tuesday in Bijapara village of Kumuli gram panchayat in Nabarangpur district. The birth of this rare calf with a deformity has become talk of the town.
People are thronging Bijapara to catch a glimpse of this calf which they believe and are praying as a demigod. The owner of the cow said he is facing difficulty has the bovine is not being able to feed the baby calf.
“The cow is not being able to feed its calf. We are feeding it with packet milk from the market,” he said. A local woman said that they believe it is a demigod. “The rare calf has been born during Navratri. We are doing Puja of this newborn. It is an avatar of Maa Durga for us,” she said.
