Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has postponed the re-examination of Paper I of the Combined Police Service Examination (CPSE) 2018 which was scheduled for today due to software issues.
“The re-examination of Paper I in CPSE 2018 is postponed because of Software issues. It is seen that Question Papers are not downloading properly. Further, it is assured that, no candidate will be denied the opportunity to take the exam. Inconvenience is regretted. Email being sent,” informed OPRB Chairman Sudhanshu Sarangi in a tweet.
The lapse has caused serious resentment among the aspirants who could not appear for the examination at their designated centres.
Tension was noticed at CPSE 2018 examination centres in Cuttack, Choudwar, Bhubaneswar and other places following the announcement of the postponement of the re-examination.
Candidates expressed resentment as the examination which was initially conducted in July had several errors and was scheduled for re-examination today and again it was postponed for technical glitches.
