Berhampur: Police have seized huge quantities of crackers estimated to be worth around Rs 4 lakh following a surprise raid in Sundarpur village under Chhatrapur police limits in Ganjam district today.
The villagers had stocked crackers in their houses in view of the festive season ahead.
Two persons have been detained by the police in this connection, informed IIC of Chhatrapur police station Satya Ranjan Pradhan.
