Puri: A crocodile was sighted in Chilika lake today afternoon. A video clip of the sighting has gone viral.
According to reports, while a private boat was ferrying some people from Janhikuda to Satpada in the afternoon today a crocodile was sighted basking under the winter sun near Mahinsakuda (a mound of land) inside the Chilika lake.
On seeing people approaching in the ferry, the reptile vanished into the blue waters of the Chilika lake.
The video of the croc basking in the sun has gone viral.
