Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths today unearthed assets worth over Rs 1.32 crore during simultaneous raids at three places on properties and the office of Prafulla Kumar Sa, head clerk at Agalpur block in Bolangir district.
Three teams of the anti-corruption agency led by 2 DSsP, 6 Inspectors, 1 ASI, and other staff conducted simultaneous house searches at Sa’s residential double-storeyed buildings in Gandhinagar Pada and Hatapadapada in Bolangir town and office room located in the office of BDO Agalpur block following an allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
While further searches are continuing, the Vigilance through an official press note has claimed to have unearthed properties valued at over Rs 1.32 crore which include the two double-storeyed buildings at Gandhinagar Pada and Hatapadapada, and four plots in Bolangir town, two two-wheelers, Insurance deposits of over Rs 3.19 lakh, bank deposits, gold and silver ornaments, and other movable and immovable properties.
