Bhubaneswar: Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), South Eastern Circle, Kolkata inspected the 13.050 Kms long rail line between Mahipur and Nuagaon Station of the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir Rail Line project, today.
Construction of the much-awaited project has been completed and will be commissioned after clearance from the Commissioner of Railway Safety. Movement of Train services will be allowed just after getting clearance from CRS for train traffic, the East Coast Railway informed.
“Commissioner of Railway Safety inspected all the safety-related works thoroughly between Mahipur and Nuagaon Station. A light Engine was also run between the two Stations to measure the feasibility of train line for train traffic,” the ECoR added.
CRS will also inspect the newly constructed 3.099 Kms long Khurda Road-Bypass Line on Thursday and will check thoroughly the safety aspects of the line. Train traffic towards South directions from Puri will be easier after the commissioning of the bypass line.
