Bhubaneswar: The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), South Eastern Circle, Kolkata, under Ministry of Civil Aviation, Brijesh Kumar Mishra, will conduct an inquiry into the derailment of the 12551 Bangalore-Kamakhya AC SF Express between Kendrapara Road and Nergundi Stations on the Cuttack-Bhadrak Rail Section under Khurda Road Railway Division of East Coast Railway, officials said.
According to an official press release, the CRS will also hold a statutory inquiry regarding the incident, during which the details of the derailment and accident will be heard.
Any member of the public with knowledge related to the derailment and the matter connected to it, and who wishes to provide evidence, may do so at the office of the DRM/Khurda Road Division, Jatni (Khurda Road), from April 1, 2025, to April 4, 2025.
The public may also submit written information to, “The Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Eastern Circle, 14 Strand Road, 12th Floor, Koilaghat Street, Kolkata-70000.”
