Cuttack: Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena visited Cuttack on Sunday and reviewed the various developmental works underway in the city. Along with CDA Chairman, District Magistrate, CMC Commissioner, and other departmental officials, he personally conducted a field visit and discussed the progress of the beautification Taladanda Canal, roads on both sides of the canal, relocation of the fish market and two state-of-the-art power grids.
“Our objective is to create more breathing space for Cuttack. This is possible by giving the city more roads and a proper drainage system. The beautification of Cuttack can be achieved when this is done properly,” Jena said.
On this occasion, the Chief Secretary said that the plan of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to beautify Cuttack will be completed through these projects. Along with the work at the SCB Medical College and Hospital, we are working on a new grid station, laying proper drainage, and having more roads.” Many such new projects are said to not only beautify Cuttack but also provide ample opportunities for people to move freely.
